Sarallyn has been an active member of FCC Natick since 1992. She joined our staff, as part-time Director of Faith Formation, in the summer of 2011 and in 2016 became full-time Director of Spiritual Vitality and Congregational Care. Sarallyn came to this position after many years of experience working with children in Godly Play. She is passionate about faith formation and exploration in both children and adults and is curious about how we choose to express our understanding of the Holy. Since her first Godly Play training back in 2000, she has found the “aha” moments to be frequent and very real.

Sarallyn studied Landscape Architecture at Cornell University and went on to become a licensed Landscape Architect in Massachusetts. She left that behind many years ago to become a full-time Mom and has done a few other jobs since then. Sarallyn lives in a sweet, little Cape that is sometimes an empty nest, always surrounded by flowers and birdsongs, and sometimes under the amazing, flapping wings of bats at dusk. The house is at its best when her two adult daughters are in residence, adding music and laughter to her soundtrack.

She finds joy in cooking, gardening, reading, football, and discovering new beaches. And she loves following the circular path of a labyrinth to the center and then unwinding back out to the beginning again; to find the rhythm of breath and steps that leads to an inner peace.
