Join us for a special worship service this Sunday as we welcome the creator and performers of “Connected, the Musical,” by Kathryn Denney. “Connected” shares the journey of Gabriel, a transgender ice skater, and his coach, who are each on a journey toward realizing their authentic truths. Gabriel finds support from his friends and the online world to come out as a man. Coach Abby finds the strength to leave her abusive marriage and live with her own interests guiding her parenthood and her professional choices.

Cast members will perform music from the show and Kathryn will speak about her work as an active ally to the transgender community and their loved ones. Together we will reflect on what we can all do to protect and empower the brave, beautiful people who are living their best lives.

We will also receive a new member in worship – Rev. Karen Hodges, former student minister at FCC Natick! We will be Karen’s church home as she serves as an interim minister to churches around the state.
