New Church Year Begins with Energy and Purpose
October 4, 2025
The new church year began this September with a vibrant and active start, kicked off by Rally Day on September 14th—a celebratory Sunday for the congregation to reconnect after summer and launch a season full of faith, fellowship, and service. With joyful worship, warm reunions, and the relaunch of Sunday school, Rally Day set the tone for an energized and engaging year ahead.
In the following weeks, the church calendar has quickly filled with activities for all ages. One weekend, families enjoyed a fun-filled apple picking outing; on another, they took part in a nature hike to connect with the beauty of the fall season. Adults gathered for Pub Theology, coming together over meaningful conversation and flavorful brews. A successful diaper drive collected essential supplies for A Place to Turn, reflecting the congregation’s ongoing commitment to supporting families in need. These moments captured the spirit of unity and joy that defines FCC Natick.
Fellowship has also extended beyond the church walls to our larger community as FCC Natick hosted Open Door on September 15th, preparing and serving a warm meal for 60 guests. At the same time, church leaders and members are continuing to engage in social justice initiatives, seeking faithful responses to today’s most pressing challenges. With such a strong and purposeful beginning, the new church year promises to be one of growth, connection, compassion, and meaningful action.
