On Sunday, May 19th, we celebrated the coming of age of four teens who turned 13 this year. The day started with a breakfast in the Vestry for the teens, their parents, siblings, grandparents, and FCC staff.  During worship, the Parents, Youth, and Congregation made promises of support  to Ann, Ben, Collin, and Isla (and their parents). Then all participated in a blessing of the teens, which culminated with Rev. Cindy’s words: “And may the blessing of God, who made you just as you are, who declares you beautiful and beloved, and who walks with you your whole life through, surround you this day and forevermore.” Amen!
