Randal Divinski grew up in Minnesota, mostly in St. Louis Park. In college, he was involved with groups opposing the nuclear (and space weapons) arms race, and was part of the anti-Apartheid movement.

He moved to Boston in the 1990s to work for the human rights organization, Peace Brigades International, and later for the economic justice magazine, Dollars & Sense. He was a board member of PeaceWorks magazine (AFSC) and the grassroots organization Save Fenway Park!

Randal moved to Natick in 2003, when he married Deede Bergeron in the sanctuary of FCC Natick. After a few years of consulting for small nonprofits, he worked for a family charitable foundation as the grants manager for 15 years. He joined FCC staff in April 2022.

Randal is a community theater actor, appearing in musicals, comedies, and dramas in the MetroWest area. He also is a modern board game enthusiast and is a long time member of two fantasy baseball leagues.
